Sudanese family reunites in Athens, Greece!
Congratulations to the Greek Council for Refugees (https://gcr.gr/en) and their lawyer Ms Eleni Kagiou, who successfully provided legal support to the Osman Ahmed Mohamed family, and achieved their family reunification in Athens, Greece, on December 5th 2025.
This is the first family who managed to come to Greece as survivors of the ongoing genocide against the Sudanese people committed by the Rapid Support Forces.

Their story is included in the upcoming documentary about current genocides, directed by Alexia Tsouni and produced by the FemArtAct social cooperative, which also includes two more stories:
1. the story of Raghd Al-Farra from Gaza, survivor of the genocide against the Palestinian people committed by Israel, who came in Athens, Greece, for medical treatment in 2025.
